Cry Me A River

Something I can't stand is people that complain about life and the things in it. If you're going to complain about something, then make it legit, useful, and constructive. Don't just bring something up about your life and say, "Hey this sucks." Or bring up a subject you don't like and bash it while knowing little or nothing about it. I hear people all the time complain about the war, music, school, and church. Now not everyone complains about these things but these are what get me the most riled up. Music and church are the ones that hit me the hardest because they are so close to me. If you're going to complain about something, at least know what you're complaining about. Don't give one reason why you hate it or don't like it and that one reason is your own biased opinion. If you can't take the time to know what you’re bashing then you don't deserve a mouth to talk out of. If I am arguing/debating about something, I know what I am debating for and against. To bash your enemy, you must know your enemy.

ok, so i'm not dissing anything you're saying man, but the thing is, We all complain... Some of us about music, and some of us complain about other stuff that you may not even care about because it's not something that buggs you. The point is, yea, some people are hypocrytical, some people look down on Christians who look different, or dress different, or listen to different music than the "average Christian." haha, more like the luke warm Christian. But ne ways, what i'm trying to say is that maybe you should try letting it go, not paying attention, not getting fired up about things that you may think are a big deal, but really, God doesn't look at the little issues, he looks at the heart. The heart is something humans can't really have a peak at unless they really know you. If you can serve God through hard rock and so on, so be it, some people can't worship God that same way. Some people are judgmental, and that's wrong, but it's also wrong to fight back and get all defensive about it. Sometimes the best thing to do is just listen to them and then walk away. Don't get fired up, and they'll see something different in you. Sometimes I think that God puts you through people like that to see how we will react. If we get all defensive and angry, how is that "Christian?" just wondering... I used to be in a screamo/rock band. Yea, i'm a girl, and i didn't like it, but the people that led it, they were amazing! genuine about God. and that reached a whole different crowd that other Christians couldn't reach.. Idk, stuff to think about.. Have an awesome day.
In Christ,
Lauren
